Bluwalk offers its customers the convenient option of paying the deposit in installments through FLOA, a credit company that provides a flexible payment solution. This guide covers all the details about the process.
1. What is FLOA?
FLOA is a credit company that offers customers the possibility to split the payment of the deposit into 3 or 4 installments, without charging interest. This simplified approach provides customers with a more affordable way to secure their reservation.
2. Cancellation of the security deposit:
When a customer requests the return of the deposit, Bluwalk informs FLOA of the request after 15 days. FLOA processes the cancellation on the same day, and the refund is initiated the following day.
3. Types of Cancellation:
3.1. Total Cancellation:
- After cancellation in the system, the process is automatically closed by FLOA.
- The refunded amount, without any interest charges, will be credited to the credit card used for the reservation.
- It is possible to make multiple refunds for the same cancellation (each installment).
3.2. Partial Cancellation:
- If the canceled amount is greater than the value of the installments charged, FLOA will refund the difference and finalize the process.
- If the canceled amount is less than the value of the installments, FLOA will automatically adjust the client's plan.
- In partial cancellations, the initial commission will not be refunded.
4. Regularization of non-compliance:
- The customer has the option to independently settle overdue payments using the link sent via email or SMS.
