To work with your vehicle, it must meet certain requirements. If it does, you simply need to get a TVDE insurance through us, accept a lending agreement, and have your car inspected. We will explain everything in detail below!

The driver does not need to be the registered owner of the vehicle; it can be owned by a company, a family member, or even a friend, as long as there is proper authorization.
TVDE Insurance
The insurance must be specific to TVDE activity, obtained through our broker, and registered in the owner's name. Upon securing TVDE insurance, you can cancel your current policy. To get an insurance quote, you can request it here.
TVDE insurance provides coverage during professional activities and also includes coverage for personal use.
Vehicle Lending Agreement (Comodato Agreement)
The driver must accept a vehicle lending agreement, valid for one year and non-binding. Unlike other companies, at no point does the car become our property. If the vehicle is not owned by the driver, the owner must also accept the agreement.
This authorization allows us to register the vehicle on the TVDE platforms (Uber and Bolt).
IPO TVDE
The vehicle needs to have a mandatory TVDE Periodic Inspection (IPO). This inspection must be done annually after the first year of registration and can be carried out at any inspection center. The "Observações Complementares" section of the inspection report must state "Inspeção realizada ao abrigo da Lei nº45/2018" as shown in the following photo:
The documents required for the inspection are:
- Registration certificate (if the documents are seized, they can be replaced by a duly validated replacement document).
- Record of the last inspection.
- Lease agreement (document you will receive from us after payment of the insurance).
- TVDE stickers (sent by us after payment of the insurance).
- Operator license (number present on the sticker).
The cost of this inspection will be approximately €30.
