Where should the TVDE stickers be placed?

Correct Placement of TVDE Stickers

The law requires the placement of two identification stickers, always inside the vehicle and visible from the outside:

• Front windshield
  The sticker must be placed in the lower right corner (passenger side)

• Rear window
  The sticker must be placed in the lower left corner

 Note (1 September 2026): Law No. 59/2026 provides for a new, non-removable identification sticker, issued by the IMT and featuring a QR code. The design and replacement deadline will depend on regulations that have not yet been published. Until then, keep the current identification stickers in the locations indicated below and follow the IMT’s instructions.
