In this article, we will delve into the car booking conditions with Drivfit, highlighting the key points to consider.
To ensure that your Drivfit vehicle reservation experience is the most convenient and free of surprises, it's essential to be aware of the conditions and responsibilities involved.
Discover here the advantages of our Drivfit partnership: A specialized Rent-a-Car for TVDE drivers.
1. Minimum period of use: 30 days
TVDE drivers at Bluwalk agree to use the vehicle for a minimum of 30 days. In the event of a return, all you have to do is notify us 15 days in advance.
2. Rates and Packages
The vehicle has a fixed weekly rate, with a package of 1,500 kms, with the possibility of additional packages for 2,000 kms, 2,500 kms or 3,000 kms.
When choosing a mileage package, it's important to consider your driving needs. If you plan to make shorter journeys or just a few times a week, the 1,500 kms package may be enough. However, if you are a more active driver or make longer journeys on a regular basis, it may be more advantageous to opt for the 2,500 kms or 3,000 kms packages.
3. Additional Kilometers, Cleaning, Fuel, and Other Costs
Drivfit tracks the number of kilometers driven weekly and compares them to the selected mileage package. If the number of kilometers exceeds your chosen package, you will incur an extra cost of €0.16 per additional kilometer.
At the end of the rental period, the vehicle must be returned with the same level of fuel or battery as when it was initially collected, as well as in the same cleanliness condition, both interior and exterior. If the vehicle is returned in conditions different from the initial state, additional costs will apply. Please note that there will be no refund if the vehicle is returned in conditions superior to the initial state.
Moreover, Drivfit may deduct administrative expenses in situations involving traffic fines or other administrative processes related to the rental period.
4. Tolls
All Drivfit vehicles come equipped with a Via Verde device for automatic toll payments. The toll expenses are the responsibility of the user and will be deducted from your earnings.
Please note that some restrictions may apply to the use of the Via Verde device, especially in parking lots and DriveThrough services. Removing this device is strictly prohibited, and any costs resulting from this illegal act will be deducted from your account.
5. Driver's Responsibilities
The user is responsible for driving the vehicle in accordance with traffic laws, local regulations, and common best practices. Respecting the vehicle and ensuring proper maintenance are also the user's responsibilities. Any violations of rules or regulations, including fines and penalties resulting from such violations, are the sole responsibility of the user.
6. Malfunctions
In the event of maintenance or breakdown, Drivfit offers support from Monday to Sunday from 9:00 to 18:00. Outside these hours, you can always contact the roadside assistance line, which provides breakdown assistance or towing and transportation of the occupants.
If the vehicle breaks down and is immobilized for a period of 72 hours or more, Drivfit undertakes to provide you with a replacement vehicle, subject to the offer in the fleet.
Note: All maintenance or breakdowns resulting from normal use of the vehicle are covered in the rental of the vehicle, and you do not have to pay for them.
7. Accidents (Claims)
In case of an accident the user should follow these procedures:
-
Report the incident immediately to Drivfit on (+351) 305 510 061 and to the police authorities, following the appropriate instructions.
-
Fill out the Friendly Automobile Accident Statement (DAAA) correctly and transparently and send it to Drivfit via support@drivfit.com. Along with the DAAA, provide police reports, witness information, and any relevant photographic records. Find out how to fill out the DAAA here.
-
Do not admit any culpability or take actions that may harm Drivfit, Bluwalk, or the parties involved in the accident.
In case of non-compliance with these guidelines, Drivfit reserves the right to charge the user the full amount of damages resulting from the incident. If the user's culpability is established, they will be responsible for all related damages and costs, in accordance with the contract terms, plus the claims handling fee.
8. Damages
The user is responsible for any damages to the vehicle during the rental period. To ensure a proper assessment of damages, an independent agent will conduct an inspection at the time of collection (check-out), which will be validated by the user. A new inspection will be carried out at the time of vehicle return (check-in).
It is essential that all damages are properly documented in the initial inspection (check-out) to avoid misunderstandings. Any damages identified during the check-in inspection that were not recorded during the check-out inspection will be attributed to the user.
9. Vehicle exchange or km package
If, during your rental period, you want to change your car segment, you can simply make a new car reservation on the Bluwalk website or contact us directly on (+351) 300 600 278.
If you want to change the mileage package, simply contact Drivfit by phone or email at support@drivfit.com.
10. Returning the vehicle
If at any time you wish to return the vehicle, this must be done directly with Drivfit, via telephone call to (+351) 305 510 061 or via e-mail to support@drivfit.com, at least 15 days in advance.
